The event expects over 250 participants, and the opening speech will be made by DCEO of Enterprise Singapore, Mr Ted Tan.

The Summit will feature numerous panels with themes revolving around smart cities in different regions, property technology, deep tech, smart living and more. Notable speakers include Steve Melhuish, co-founder of PropertyGuru; Ivan Ng, CTO of leading global real estate company, City Developments Limited; Diomedes Kastanis, Head of IoT, Singtel; Ian Chadsey, Director of Jones Lang Lasalle, and Andrew Young, Group Chief Innovation Officer of SINO Group. Attending media include Bloomberg, CNBC and Nikkei.

CEO and co-founder of igloohome, Anthony Chow says, “Singapore has won the Smart City of 2018 award at the Smart City World Congress in Barcelona, and many cities are looking to Singapore as a prime example of how to digitize and innovate to boost livability and sustainability. Startups and smart city innovators have a large role to play in these efforts. We want to connect the key drivers of innovation in the region and beyond through the Summit to facilitate the adoption of smart cities technologies and initiatives.”

igloohome expects that connections made through this network will help to deepen conversations between the stakeholders, and will sustain well beyond the Summit.
