Introducing the Deadbolt 2S Metal Grey

In case you didn't know, we just launched the Deadbolt 2S in Metal Grey! Keeping to the sleek and minimalistic exterior of the Deadbolt 2S, the latest version comes with improved features for greater convenience.

Improved user experience

The Deadbolt 2S Metal Grey boasts enhancements to the firmware and hardware. You can expect a myriad of features that greatly enhance the user experience. 

We'll show you some notable ones: 

1. Front panel design

The most significant aesthetic change on the front panel will be the backspace and unlock icons. The predecessor features standard star keys which did not allow users to delete their PIN code inputs if there was an error. The unlock icon also provides clarity for the user to tap on after keying in their PIN codes. 

2. Types of PIN codes 

On top of the usual permanent, duration and one time PIN codes, you can now create recurring ones too! If you've got a helper that comes in every Wednesday between 12pm - 2pm, he/she can now use the same PIN code every week. There's no need for you to continuously create new ones, nor will you have to worry about unwanted access. The PIN code will only be valid during the stipulated days and times. 

3. Creation of PIN codes 

Previously, you could only generate PIN codes and edit them to your desired combination. Now, the Deadbolt 2S Metal Grey lets you customise your own when you're within Bluetooth range. Talk about convenience! 

4. Deletion of PIN codes 

You can delete individual PIN codes with the trash icon when you're within Bluetooth range. It's hassle-free as compared to previous iterations which will require you to delete all PIN codes. 

5. Changing the volume

We're proud to let you know that you can now customise the volume of your Deadbolt 2S Metal Grey! That's right, we heard your requests. Simply configure it via the settings tab on the mobile app when you're within Bluetooth range.
